Researchers agree that social connection can help people live longer and healthier lives. Being socially disconnected, for example, is associated with higher risk of illnesses, including heart disease, stroke, anxiety, depression, and dementia.

Coordinating trips, hobbies, evenings out, cosy meals with friends from various social circles might be another full-time job. Most probably you would have a group chat on Messenger or WhatsApp for your hobby, family group, course you have joined X years ago, and many more different, tiny groups for all sorts of purposes. In those groups, usually there is one extrovert with initiative who adopted all introverts and always comes up with entertaining activities.

What if you are an introvert and you would like to stay home this evening but you don’t mind some good conversation with a cup of tea? You called Tør. He can’t. He is helping out his father. You called Helena. She can’t. She has salsa classes. By now you are disappointed and you would rather like to get back to your book. Each call was uncomfortable and it cost you some nerves. You give up, but what if your friend Sorelle was just nearby, in your neighborhood,  and she would love to have some company, but she completely forgot that you live in the area, and anyway she wouldn’t want to bother you with so little notice. There you go. Such a missed opportunity.

We have been there. Not once. That’s how the idea came to existence. It is just solving our problem of mundane work to reach out, come up with an activity idea, plan it, confirm it, create bubbles, merge bubbles, share calendars, and bring the best of socialising without a feeling of being anxious, inadequate or overwhelming.

Connections matter, they bring more fulfilment and contentment, but also they are a determinant of longevity. Do your workout, eat healthy, but also meet your friends regularly and let us help you with that.
